Early Intervention - Claims Management Associate
Hours: 30 - 35 hours per week.
About Us: Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for providing evaluation and therapy to children (0-15 years of age) presenting a variety of speech-language-feeding disorders. Therapy services to be provided in-home/daycare and/or clinic-based settings.
Job responsibilities: The Billing Associate will own the Therapy Billing through Raintree EMR and is responsible for accurate collection of all monies from various sources.

Sending & Receiving Claims: Make sure claims go out 100% accurate every single day. Receive electronic 837 ERA and paper claims and correctly post it to Ledger.

Follow-ups: On unpaid or denied claims, follow-up using Availity, phone calls, website, etc.

Communication: with therapists when notes cannot be posted, with external sources when authorizations not received, etc.

Any other office administration tasks
Education/Experience Requirements

Very high - accuracy of work, organization skills, computer skills are a must. We are a 0-paper office.

Associates in Accounting, Therapy Billing, or similar

Understanding of the flow of new referral to receipt of monies for services

3+ years of working with Software like Raintree or other EMR systems

Familiarity with Medical Insurance Terminology

Knowledgeable with Early Intervention System is important
Compensation/Benefits:

Will be considered for Paid Holidays and Accrued Vacation after 90-days based on performance

Will be considered for Group Health Insurance after 6-months of successful demonstration of the ability to take ownership of the job responsibilities
